I wrote the AllBinary Game Development Kit. It runs on Android, J2ME, & J2SE. I think that adding JME/Arbor would work well for 3D games across Android and J2SE. I already have a basic renderer for OpenGL without a 3D engine.

I'm also more impressed with the experience of developing Android apps versus iPhone apps. But I am more inclined towards Java, and the latter I have just done my standard calculator app on, so perhaps I haven't "gotten used" to iPhone dev enough. :)
